Responsibilities
Executive Positioning & Advisory: Advise senior leaders and executives on messaging, engagement strategies, and thought leadership; draft executive communications including town halls, keynotes, leadership messages, and briefing materials.
Strategic Narrative Development: Translate complex business initiatives into clear, compelling stories tailored to diverse internal and external audiences, ensuring absolute consistency across leadership levels.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with Public Relations, Government Affairs, and an international network of communications professionals to align external positioning and reputation management.
Project & Campaign Management: Support multiple concurrent projects ranging from internal culture shifts and marketing initiatives to agency-style creative workflows and high-profile award submissions.
Digital & Event Support: Enhance executive digital presence (e.g., LinkedIn) and provide communication materials for media interactions, industry events, and stakeholder Q&As.
Performance Tracking: Define communications KPIs, track progress, and deliver data-informed recommendations for ongoing improvement.
Qualifications
Experience: Minimum of 5 years (ideally 7+ years) of experience in corporate communications, executive communications, public affairs, marketing, or a related field, preferably within a large corporate environment or a fast-paced agency setting.
Bilingual communication (FR/ENG) is required because, as part of your duties, you will be expected to communicate with English-speaking clients, partners, and employees located outside of Quebec on a daily basis
Technical & Creative Skills: Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint is a must; exceptional writing, editing, storytelling, and presentation design capabilities are required.
Mindset: A proactive self-starter with strong initiative who takes total ownership of projects and seamlessly adapts to shifting priorities.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
Mobility: Ability to travel minimally as required (primarily within the Montreal area, with occasional travel to Toronto).
