Responsibilities
Strategic Oversight & Delivery: Manage delivery roadmaps, proactively map dependencies, mitigate risks, and ensure transparent progress reporting to executive leadership.
Product Partnership: Collaborate closely with business partners and support Product Owners in defining product visions, documenting enhancements, and aligning data outputs with corporate strategy.
Data Governance & Architecture Support: Leverage deep data governance knowledge to guide migration, analytics, and compliance efforts, while overseeing the evolution of Power BI reporting capabilities.
Financial & Change Management: Conduct rigorous financial tracking and forecasting, implement variance mitigation strategies, and champion change management across diverse business lines.
Team Leadership & Agile Mentorship: Coach a cross-functional data delivery squad of 15 to 20 professionals (including Architects, Analysts, Developers, and a Scrum Master), ensuring healthy backlog maintenance, optimized Kanban flows, and alignment with Agile Centers of Excellence (CoE).
Qualifications
A minimum of 5 to 10 years of dedicated experience managing complex IT projects, with a distinct focus on data initiatives.
Mandatory proficiency in French (both written and spoken).
Proven, hands-on expertise in Data Governance frameworks and practices.
Strong analytical mindset with a track record of driving continuous improvement, outstanding negotiation skills, and seasoned conflict-resolution capabilities.
Strong Asset: Professional proficiency in English (written and spoken) to facilitate collaboration with cross-regional stakeholders.
Asset: Prior experience managing IT projects within the Group Insurance or Employee Benefits sector.
Asset: Familiarity with or strong interest in modern cloud data platforms (such as Snowflake, GCP, Databricks, or Microsoft Fabric).
