Responsibilities
Configure and implement data governance, data catalog, and data marketplace capabilities within cloud data management environments.
Build metadata ingestion pipelines to automate harvesting, data lineage tracking, and data quality integrations from source systems.
Establish business glossaries, data domains, data classifications, ownership models, and automated stewardship workflows.
Lead the solution design and execution of phased governance and marketplace proof-of-concept (POC) initiatives.
Collaborate with data engineering teams to integrate governance framework controls across cloud data platforms, relational databases, and analytics suites.
Translate governance policies and business needs into technical specifications, user stories, and architecture configurations.
Produce technical documentation, runbooks, configuration guides, and knowledge transfer materials for production transition.
Qualifications
Data Governance & Management Seniority: 5+ years of hands-on experience in data management, metadata management, or enterprise data governance solutions (Strictly Required).
Informatica Governance Tooling: 2+ years of hands-on experience implementing enterprise data cataloging, cloud data governance, or data marketplace solutions (Strictly Required).
Governance Framework Mastery: Deep understanding of data governance frameworks, metadata management, data lineage, data quality principles, and stewardship workflows (Strictly Required).
SQL & Data Platform Integration: Strong SQL proficiency and proven experience integrating data governance platforms with cloud and on-premises data sources (Strictly Required).
Agile Execution: Proven track record delivering data projects within structured Agile development environments (Strictly Required).
Nice-to-Have Assets:
Hands-on experience with cloud data platforms (e.g., Azure Data Factory) and business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI).
Relevant data management certifications or alignment with DAMA-DMBOK principles.
