Responsibilities
Collaborate with internal development squads and technical leads to roll out initial web portal functionalities, ensuring seamless integration with transactional features.
Take ownership of migrating legacy and modern front-end components over to a cloud-native AWS architecture.
Build and maintain clean, performant, and scalable code using a combination of microservices and microfrontend design patterns.
Embed robust security controls into the delivery pipeline, ensuring all web assets meet rigorous corporate standards.
Qualifications
5 to 10 years of professional full-stack software development experience.
Strong expertise in building responsive web applications using ReactJS.
Practical experience deploying and managing web assets via AWS CloudFront and AWS S3.
Solid backend proficiency utilizing Java and/or Kotlin.
Deep understanding of modern architectural patterns including microservices, microfrontends, and secure identity framework protocols (OpenID Connect).
Strong familiarity with web security best practices and OWASP guidelines.
Proactive learner who adapts quickly to shifting engineering environments and thrives under a Scrum/SAFe methodology.
Language requirements: Fluent in English or Bilingual.
Our client operates in Canada. The company takes all reasonable steps to limit the number of positions in Quebec that require knowledge of a language other than French, and only requires it when necessary and its existing bilingual employees are unable to perform these duties. Based on an assessment conducted by our client, it has been determined that this position requires candidates to be fluent in English (both spoken and written). In particular, this position will require the employee to interact with centralized internal departments (e.g., Operations / HR / Finance / Legal / Contracts / Sales) that support the organization in Canada and that do not speak French.
