Responsibilities
Develop and maintain our Salesforce continuous integration pipeline and associated tools.
Perform environment updates and configuration activities.
Perform production releases, including the application of manual pre- and post-deployment steps.
Contribute to the overall environment management strategy and implementation process.
Contribute to source promotion activities, including code and metadata merges, in our global environments.
Support the various implementation teams in their release activities.
Qualifications
- A motivated and passionate professional with a keen interest in automation.
- A release developer looking to move into the Salesforce ecosystem, or an experienced Salesforce developer looking to move into a DevOps role.
- Degree in computer science, software engineering or related field.
- Five to eight years' experience in the development field
- Experience with Salesforce command line interface (CLI) (sfdx and/or sf)
- Bilingualism (French and English) - Requires interaction on a regular basis with colleagues across the country.
Asset :
- Experience working in an automated deployment context, directly in a production-related capacity.
- Experience with automation tools, Jenkins (and Groovy development) or GitHub Actions
- Experience of Git version control systems
- Experience of Salesforce-specific release tools, Copado
- Experience of development in Salesforce Apex
- Experience in the insurance industry
