Responsibilities
End-to-End QA Leadership: Provide guidance and oversight to junior testing personnel while planning, organizing, and executing testing streams for large-scale clinical and public health applications.
Test Strategy & Artifact Creation: Develop complete testing documentation, including test strategies, test plans, test cases, test use cases, automated scripts, and test summary reports.
API & Web Services Validation: Perform functional and non-functional testing of RESTful APIs, HL7-FHIR web services, and security components using tools such as Postman, SOAP-UI, SAML, and JWT.
Test Automation & Tooling: Build and execute automated test scripts using frameworks such as Selenium to support continuous integration and deployment pipelines.
Database & SQL Querying: Execute complex SQL ad-hoc queries and use information retrieval packages to prepare test data, analyze backend database results, and ensure data integrity across reporting dashboards and BI solutions.
Accessibility Testing: Conduct web and mobile accessibility testing to ensure digital interfaces comply with WCAG 2.0 and AODA standards using industry-standard tools.
Defect Lifecycle Management: Identify, log, track, and prioritize software defects using platforms like Jira, Confluence, or TestRail, leading regular triage sessions with developers and product owners.
COTS & Systems Integration: Validate COTS platform updates, COTS patches, in-house web applications, and enterprise registry integration components to ensure seamless cross-system performance.
Qualifications
SQL & Data Querying Expertise: Solid hands-on knowledge and experience with information retrieval packages, complex SQL queries, and ad-hoc query writing (Strictly Required).
QA Leadership Seniority: Minimum 7+ years of experience as a lead Systems Testing/QA Specialist planning, organizing, and executing full lifecycle testing streams (Strictly Required).
API, Web Services & Security: 7+ years of experience testing RESTful/HL7-FHIR web services, APIs, and security authentication protocols (SAML, JWT) using tools like Postman or SOAP-UI (Strictly Required).
Test Automation & Scripting: Demonstrated hands-on experience developing and executing automated test scripts using frameworks such as Selenium (Strictly Required).
Accessibility Compliance: Proven experience conducting accessibility testing for web and mobile interfaces to ensure compliance with WCAG 2.0 / AODA standards (Strictly Required).
