As a senior specialist, you will act as a primary guardian of system integrity, bridging the gap between core backend database systems and frontend interfaces. Operating entirely onsite, you will plan and organize end-to-end testing efforts, engineer automated validation frameworks, manage complete defect lifecycles, and perform intensive data reconciliation to ensure high-performance delivery across custom and commercial application architectures.

Multi-Tier Execution: Plan and coordinate multi-tiered testing efforts in both Graphical User Interface (GUI) and non-GUI environments, including system level integration (SIT), functional, and regression cycles.
Defect Lifecycle Governance: Enforce established bug tracking protocols, systematically identifying, documenting, and prioritizing software anomalies using enterprise tracking software.
Performance & Scale Benchmarking: Create and execute load, stress, and performance scripts to evaluate software limits, isolate systemic bottlenecks, and assess overall system scalability.
Agile Forum Collaboration: Partner closely with developers, business analysts, and project managers inside Agile environments, participating actively in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and reviews.
Accessibility Compliance Guarding: Evaluate software interfaces and forms using specialized validation tools to ensure strict alignment with provincial digital accessibility guidelines and standards.
Documentation & Asset Management: Maintain detailed metrics of test results, coverage maps, and quality parameters while providing technical input for user manuals and formal release notes.

Core Technical & Testing Requirements
Enterprise QA Experience: Proven track record in planning, organizing, and executing multi-phase testing solutions for large, complex, and business-critical software platforms.
Data Interrogation & Oracle Skills: Solid hands-on experience in data analysis, transformation testing, and data reconciliation, backed by a good working knowledge of Oracle database tools and SQL query scripting.
Testing & Problem Tracking Suite: High proficiency utilizing enterprise defect management and testing tools, including Jira, Bugzilla, Azure DevOps, Playwright, and the Micro Focus/OpenText Product Suite.
Automation & Scripting Depth: Practical experience coding automated test scripts (utilizing frameworks like Selenium, Cypress, TestComplete, or Postman) alongside familiarity with scripting languages (such as Python or JavaScript).
System Integration & UAT Mastery: Comprehensive understanding of structured methodologies spanning all phases of the Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC), with demonstrated success supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
Preferred & Desirable Capabilities
Rules Engine & Platform Familiarity: Technical experience working with web-based 3-tier software platforms, custom solutions, and Commercial Off-the-Shelf (COTS) applications (such as those incorporating IBM J-Rules engines).
Accessibility Testing Expertise: Hands-on experience performing digital accessibility testing utilizing standard tools such as JAWS, NVDA, WAVE, or Compliance Sheriff to meet AODA/WCAG 2.0 AA regulations.
