Responsibilities
Technical Project Steering: Oversee and deliver end-to-end data protection and data security initiatives for major organizational projects.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner closely with advanced technology engineering teams and information security units to embed robust security protocols from inception.
Risk & Vulnerability Management: Facilitate data analysis assessments, track systems vulnerabilities, and coordinate remediation strategies across technical teams.
Operational Liaison: Act as the primary bridge between technical specialists (SOC, security architects) and corporate financial business lines.
Progress Tracking: Establish, monitor, and present key performance indicators (KPIs) and milestone reports to executive leadership.
Qualifications
Technical Expertise: Proven background in cybersecurity infrastructure, specifically focusing on data protection, security operations centers (SOC), vulnerability management, and data analysis.
Senior Experience: A minimum of 8 to 10 years managing large-scale, complex IT or security projects within an enterprise corporate environment.
On-Site Availability: Ability and willingness to commute regularly to the Montreal office (hybrid model with mandatory on-site presence).
Communication Mastery: Outstanding capability to translate deeply technical security risks into clear, actionable business strategies for non-technical stakeholders.
Credentials (Assets): PMP, CISA, CISM, or related technical security certifications.
Our client operates in Canada. The company takes all reasonable steps to limit the number of positions in Quebec that require knowledge of a language other than French, and only requires it when necessary and its existing bilingual employees are unable to perform these duties. Based on an assessment conducted by our client, it has been determined that this position requires candidates to be fluent in English (both spoken and written). In particular, this position will require the employee to interact with centralized internal departments (e.g., Operations / HR / Finance / Legal / Contracts / Sales) that support the organization in Canada and that do not speak French.
