Responsibilities
Discovery & User Research: Facilitate kick-off workshops and user research activities, producing interview scripts, topic maps, research synthesis reports, user personas, problem statements, and service blueprints.
Alpha Design & Prototyping: Conduct design sprints and create interactive, clickable prototypes; validate multiple design solutions through user testing and iterate based on empirical research findings.
Beta Delivery & Agile Alignment: Work within an Agile (Scrum) framework to define, sketch, and validate user stories ahead of development sprints; create UI designs and maintain backlog alignment.
Usability & Accessibility Testing: Conduct regular usability testing sessions and perform accessibility compliance testing across product iterations to ensure alignment with digital accessibility guidelines.
Post-Launch Continuous Improvement: Monitor live product performance, analyze usage analytics and user behavior patterns, measure key performance indicators (KPIs), and refine features iteratively.
Stakeholder Mediation & Change Management: Partner with business teams and product owners to navigate change resistance, communicate design rationale clearly, and ensure product milestones progress on schedule.
Qualifications
UX & Mobile-First Best Practices: Extensive experience applying UX design best practices to complex software solutions, backed by a deep understanding of mobile-first and responsive design (Strictly Required).
Product Seniority & Agile Expertise: 3+ years of relevant experience participating in complex, multi-scale product initiatives within user-centered design and Agile (Scrum) methodologies (Strictly Required).
Communication & Mediation Skills: Demonstrated experience in stakeholder communication, change management mediation, and cross-functional team alignment to maintain delivery schedules (Strictly Required).
User Research & Testing Output: Proven experience facilitating user research, interview synthesis, and usability testing sessions to produce actionable findings reports (Strictly Required).
Prototyping Software Proficiency: Hands-on expertise using industry UX software such as Figma, InVision, Sketch, JustInMind, Axure, Zeplin, or Adobe Creative Cloud (Strictly Required).
Nice-to-Have Assets:
Degree or certification in Graphic Design, Usability, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or Technical Writing.
Practical knowledge of web accessibility compliance testing and standards (e.g., WCAG 2.1 AA / AODA).
Basic familiarity with front-end web technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, React, Angular, NodeJS).
