Responsibilities
Take ownership of configuring assigned modules with a focus on collaborative solutions for impactful changes in other modules.
Embrace full-cycle responsibility: design, delivery, configuration, testing, documentation, and support.
Handle escalated inquiries and issues for assigned modules, leading efforts in implementing new functionality and enhancements.
Support the integration of new acquisitions into the Workday ecosystem, assessing impacts within assigned modules and executing necessary configuration changes from end to end.
Collaborate with key stakeholders to analyze business requirements proactively and translate them into efficient configuration solutions.
Communicate system capabilities and limitations to enhance the impact of Workday and convey changes/enhancements to the business.
Maintain comprehensive documentation, including design/configuration changes, process documentation, and annual year-end system maintenance/set-up requirements.
Support the semi-annual release process through regression testing, reviewing new functionalities, and assessing potential impacts on the current ecosystem.
Implement necessary configuration changes and communicate effectively to ensure seamless transitions.
Utilize the ticketing/tracking tool as a central repository for all defects/changes requests from business stakeholders.
Continuously evaluate current configuration for opportunities to streamline processes, simplify configurations, reduce non-value-added activities, and eliminate manual workarounds.
Provide mentorship to junior HRIS team members, fostering a culture of learning for development and providing coverage/back-up.
Encourage knowledge sharing and skill enhancement among key functional HR/Payroll team members and business stakeholders.
Actively engage with the Workday Community for ongoing learning and development, creative solutioning, and contributing to brainstorming/feedback for future enhancements.
Qualifications
Completed a bachelor's degree in commerce, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.
Over 2 years of Workday configuration expertise, with advanced proficiency in one or more modules.
Collaborates with key stakeholders from issue identification to resolution.
Demonstrates analytical thinking and problem-solving skills, translating HRIS/Workday knowledge into clear solutions.
Technical aptitude for HR systems and a deep understanding of Workday ecosystem interdependencies.
Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially MS Excel.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills at all organizational levels.
Meticulous attention to detail in maintaining Workday architecture and data integrity.
Thrives in structured and unstructured environments, handling pressure and changing priorities.
Protects highly confidential information.
