The Service Officer is responsible for the integrity of HR data and providing operational support for leave management. This is a 100% back-office role that involves heavy data translation, spreadsheet management, and internal/external stakeholder communication. You will spend your day ensuring that sensitive employee information is captured correctly and helping managers navigate leave policies.
Role Type: 8-Month Contract (Potential for extension or permanent conversion)
Location: Montreal, QC (Hybrid – 3 days per week onsite)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Compensation: $18.55

Responsibilities
Data Management: Verify, input, and audit data from source documents into HR systems (ServiceNow and Workday).
Analysis: Review complex spreadsheets, translate data trends, and ensure accuracy before final entry.
Support: Answer inquiries from People Managers and employees regarding leave policies and disability management.
Compliance: Maintain meticulous logs of activities and ensure all documentation meets strict banking privacy standards.
Collaboration: Participate in daily huddles and work closely with seasoned HR professionals to resolve complex cases.
Qualifications
- 1–2 years of experience in a corporate office environment (Banking or Financial Services -experience is a plus).
- Fluency in both French and English is a strict requirement.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Ability to work with data sets).
- High attention to detail, strong problem-solving abilities, and "technical curiosity."
Nice-to-Have:
- Advanced Excel skills (V-Lookups, Pivot Tables, Macros) and experience with ServiceNow or Workday.
- Educational background or prior experience in Human Resources (a significant asset).
