Responsibilities
Custom Development & System Architecture
Scoped Application Engineering: Lead the configuration, scripting, and custom development of scoped applications and workflows tailored to business requirements.
Solution Architecture Design: Craft and document technical solution architectures for out-of-the-box (OOTB) implementations, custom applications, and complex integrations.
System Integration: Design, build, test, and maintain robust platform integrations connecting ServiceNow with external enterprise tools using IntegrationHub and REST APIs.
Governance, Testing & Platform Best Practices
Technical Quality & Standards: Enforce platform development best practices, perform code reviews, and maintain clean, scalable, and upgrade-safe custom code.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner closely with business analysts, solution architects, and project managers to translate functional requirements into technical deployment plans.
Continuous Optimization: Evaluate existing ServiceNow workflows, identify performance bottlenecks, and implement continuous platform enhancements.
Qualifications
ServiceNow Experience: 5+ years of hands-on technical experience developing, configuring, and administering solutions on the ServiceNow platform.
Integration Expertise: Demonstrated experience designing and building ServiceNow integrations using IntegrationHub and REST API solutions.
Custom Scoped Apps: Strong, proven track record in custom-scoped application development, GIDE/JavaScript, Business Rules, Client Scripts, and Flow Designer.
Bilingual Proficiency: Fluency in both French and English with strong French business communication skills (written and verbal).
Soft Skills: Exceptional technical problem-solving skills; strong time management; ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional technical teams.
Preferred Assets & Nice-to-Haves
Experience implementing or configuring the ServiceNow Field Service Management (FSM) module.
Hands-on experience with ServiceNow Solution Architecture (creating high-level and detailed technical architecture designs).
Professional experience within the Utilities industry.
Active ServiceNow certifications (e.g., Certified Application Developer [CAD], Certified System Administrator [CSA], or Certified Implementation Specialist [CIS]).
