Responsibilities
Coordination: Communicate effectively with carriers and internal departments to smoothly manage logistics.
Priority Management: Sort and prioritize aerospace parts based on order urgency.
Inspection & Quality Control: Check incoming shipments for any damage or discrepancies using P.O. / R.O. documents.
Storage & Logistics: Pick lighter parts from the upstairs storage warehouse and organize outbound shipments.
Specialized Handling: Safely operate a small overhead crane to lift heavier engine parts when required.
Administration: Prepare shipping documents and perform data entry using the internal ERP computer system.
Qualifications
Experience: Minimum of 3 years of solid experience as a Shipping/Receiving Clerk.
Mandatory Legal Status: Must be a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident due to the Controlled Goods Regulations Act.
Computer Skills: Comfortable using computers and navigating an ERP system.
Physical Fitness: Capable of comfortably lifting up to 50 lbs and regularly climbing stairs to retrieve individual parts.
Asset: Previous experience operating a forklift is a definite plus.
