Responsibilities
Validate the methodological compliance and quality of process models and associated deliverables.
Assist in developing automation scripts for BPMN workflows using Enterprise Architect (EA).
Partner with Business Architecture Advisors to maintain full alignment between Archimate and BPMN representations.
Identify modeling gaps or operational trade-offs, formulate structured recommendations, and actively contribute to process review committees.
Mentor and advise Business Analysts on industry best practices and optimal tooling usage.
Conduct continuous research on evolving business process modeling techniques and recommend framework improvements.
Support team leads in creating and maintaining methodology guides, templates, and operational toolsets.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a relevant equivalent field.
A minimum of seven (7) years of professional experience in the Information Technology sector.
At least five (5) years of hands-on experience in business process modeling utilizing the BPMN 2.0 standard.
Minimum of two (2) years of experience within a Quebec public sector entity or ministry (engagements under 55 worked days will not be considered).
IIBA CCBA certification (Certification of Capability in Business Analysis) or an equivalent professional accreditation.
Advanced expertise in Enterprise Architect (Sparx Systems) for diagramming and documentation (technical proficiency will be evaluated via an in-person assessment during the interview).
Functional knowledge of UML and Archimate modeling languages.
Practical experience using collaborative project management and documentation platforms (e.g., SharePoint, Atlassian suite).
Our client operates in Canada. The company takes all reasonable steps to limit the number of positions in Quebec that require knowledge of a language other than French, and only requires it when necessary and its existing bilingual employees are unable to perform these duties. Based on an assessment conducted by our client, it has been determined that this position requires candidates to be fluent in English (both spoken and written). In particular, this position will require the employee to interact with centralized internal departments (e.g., Operations / HR / Finance / Legal / Contracts / Sales) that support the organization in Canada and that do not speak French.
