In this role, you will be embedded within the Client Services and Data Management (CS&DM) team, facilitating and executing investigation, assessment, and client outreach activities related to missing or outdated tax forms. Responsibilities
•Regulatory Client Outreach: Manage and execute client outreach campaigns to collect missing or updated regulatory data and tax documentation ahead of upcoming refresh deadlines.
•Data Investigation & Remediation: Review complex client profiles and data gaps to identify regulatory reporting issues. Ensure accurate data validation, consolidation, and data entry into internal books of record.
•Stakeholder & Relationship Management: Coordinate closely with internal partners—including Tax Operations, Legal, Compliance, and Senior Management—to investigate inquiries and manage shared team email queues professionally.
•Process Tracking & Improvement: Maintain precise tracking logs of remediation progress, prioritize urgent requests, and identify areas to automate or streamline current procedures.
•Mentoring & Knowledge Transfer: Train and onboard fellow colleagues or junior staff on new tax workstreams, creating training materials and job aids as necessary.
Qualifications
Required Experience & Domain Knowledge
•5–7 years of experience within Regulatory Compliance, Tax Operations, Client Onboarding, or Trade Control/Trade Desk Support, specifically within a Capital Markets environment.
•Deep familiarity with institutional client types, including Asset Managers, Insurance Companies, Pensions, and Sovereign Wealth Funds.
•Comprehensive understanding of domestic and foreign financial regulatory frameworks (e.g., Dodd-Frank, CSA, EMIR, MiFID, HKMA, MAS, ASIC, CAT NMS, CIRO/IIROC).
Technical Skills
•Expert proficiency with S&P Global (formerly IHS Markit) portal for retrieving and validating regulatory data and documentation.
•Strong research, analytical, and data management skills to effectively consolidate information into appropriate formats.
Soft Skills
•Rapid Learning Agility: A proven ability to quickly learn, understand, and apply complex new business workflows or regulatory processes.
•Excellent Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills required to manage high-stakes client relationships and internal inquiries.
