Tasks :
-Correspondence with custom brokers, freight forwarders, couriers, transport companies and suppliers for all shipping, documents,( Ocean/Air/Road) etc ...
-Verify tariff classification
-Issue Purchase orders
-Prepare all shipments and customs documents
-Shipment consolidations by port to ensure scheduling is reasonable.
-Follow-up and track on containers and deliveries when required.
-Match and approve brokerage and freight bills for sample shipments.
-Prepare internal receivers
-Follow up on all aspects of import orders to ensure timely compliance with customer requirements (UPC, artwork/packaging, samples, shipping instructions, documentation, certifications, etc.)
-Communication with factory in China
Qualifications :
English environment if you speak mandarin is a big asset
Relevant experience in a similar position (Import/Export, Customs procedures and HS codes)
Multitask, organised, sense of urgency, autonomous, teamwork
Computer savvy especially in Excel
