As the primary functional point of contact for the Yardi platform, this role oversees day-to-day system administration, user support, and module optimization. Working closely with Finance and operational teams, the position ensures all accounting workflows align with internal controls, regulatory policies, and financial reporting standards. A major component of this role involves leveraging SQL to build custom queries, reports, and data extracts for stakeholders, alongside performing rigorous data quality reviews and data cleansing to establish governance standards and protect overall system integrity.
Beyond routine maintenance, the analyst leads system upgrades, release cycles, and regression testing to preserve platform continuity, while serving as the primary liaison with Yardi vendors for integrations and escalations. The role also drives continuous process improvements by managing change requests, documenting system configurations and process maps, and delivering both scheduled and on-demand user training to reinforce proper accounting usage across the enterprise.
Qualifications
Candidates must possess a strong foundation in accounting and finance, backed by post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related discipline, along with at least five years of experience in accounting systems support, financial systems analysis, or business analysis. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in financial controls, regulatory reporting standards, and core accounting workflows (AP, AR, GL, and Investment Accounting), alongside hands-on technical proficiency with Yardi Voyager or comparable enterprise accounting platforms.
