women shaping business

Launched in 2012, Randstad Canada’s Women Shaping Business program aims at exploring the challenges and opportunities for today’s Canadian women in the workplace. A key element of the program, Randstad Canada conducts annually a nationwide survey in collaboration with Ipsos Reid, asking Canadian women how they feel the country has progressed toward more equal workplaces.

This year, we explore what are the unique abilities, perspective and insights that women can bring to the table. Are they being sufficiently leveraged? How do we develop our capacity to influence, lead, and initiate change? How do we identify future leaders in our organizations and communities and empower them? How do we push for a better representation of women in male-dominated fields like STEM or skilled trades? What is the W factor, and how do we encourage it?
