Responsibilities
Functional Testing: Perform functional and performance tests on refrigeration units, strictly following protocols established by the engineering team.
Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve technical issues when units require adjustments to meet performance standards.
Test Bench Setup: Meticulously prepare test benches by assembling and configuring the necessary instrumentation according to project technical specifications.
Documentation: Write detailed daily test reports to ensure perfect traceability before equipment is shipped to clients.
Maintenance & Safety: Maintain test equipment preventatively while ensuring a clean, organized, and safe work environment at all times.
Collaboration: Work with various departments to verify the installation compliance of electrical and mechanical components on HVAC systems.
Qualifications
Education: Vocational Diploma (DEP) in Refrigeration or Electricity; a refrigeration license is highly preferred for higher pay scales.
Technical Expertise: Excellent knowledge of refrigeration systems, particularly chillers, making you a recognized technical expert.
Technical Literacy: Strong ability to interpret complex mechanical plans and electrical schematics with exemplary precision.
Software Skills: Proficiency in IT tools, specifically the Microsoft Office Suite, to document results efficiently and professionally.
Soft Skills: Known for your autonomy, rigor, and ability to manage priorities in a dynamic production environment.
Communication: Functional bilingualism (French/English) to ensure smooth oral and written coordination within the Dorval plant.
