Responsibilities
Maintain, optimize, and troubleshoot complex enterprise network environments encompassing LAN/WAN, Next-Gen Firewalls (Palo Alto), DDoS protection, and Cisco ACI data center architectures.
Deliver high-level technical expertise in application delivery controllers (NetScaler) or enterprise wireless environments (Cisco Wi-Fi).
Oversee network performance, conduct proactive vulnerability management, and coordinate hardware/software patch solutions with key vendors.
Author, review, and execute technical change requests within a structured change management framework.
Craft precise architectural documentation, topology diagrams, and operational procedures to ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met.
Act as an escalation lead for complex network incidents, taking ownership through root-cause analysis and problem resolution.
Participate in a shared 24/7 on-call rotational shift (1 week per month, Friday to Friday).
Qualifications
Experience: 5+ years of hands-on expertise in senior-level network engineering, architecture, and administration within mission-critical environments.
Core Technical Mastery: In-depth knowledge of Cisco data center fabrics (Cisco ACI) and core routing/switching protocols (BGP, EIGRP, MPLS, TCP/IP).
Specialized Expertise: Strong proficiency in either NetScaler Load Balancing (ADC) OR enterprise Cisco Wi-Fi infrastructure.
Security & Access Controls: Familiarity with Cisco ISE, Next-Gen Firewalls, and automated network deployment practices.
Mindset & Soft Skills: Highly methodical troubleshooter with exceptional communication skills, an adaptable mindset geared toward change, and the ability to thrive under pressure.
Certifications: CCNA or CCNP certification is highly desired (equivalent hands-on experience will be considered).
Education: Post-secondary diploma or degree in Network Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technology field.
