Responsibilities
- Schedule and dispatch drivers to pick up and deliver loads to and from customers
- Manage on time performance of deliveries, such as % on-time delivery, stops per hour
- Maintain contact with drivers throughout the day
- Ensure drivers are aware of all/any unusual delivery/pickup requirements and update TMS System (Truck Mate)
- Ensure drivers are made aware of all appointment deliveries, cash collects and C.O.D.'s
- Prioritize and assign pickups to drivers to ensure maximum efficiency
- To perform driver checkout as required
- Monitor and track all equipment as assigned or moved
- To ensure all updates in Truck Mate System are done in real time for statuses of all trucks and trailers
Qualifications
- French and English is mandatory
- 3+ years with LTL shipments
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to maintain organization and time management
- Good communicator
- Good attitude and willingness to learn
