You will act as a technical bridge to ensure data privacy, risk assessment, and security controls are built into projects from day one. Responsibilities
Drive Security Deliverables: Lead project pipelines focused on data protection, vulnerability management, data analytics, and Security Operations Center (SOC) alignment.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with AI and technology delivery teams to perform risk assessments and embed security governance early in project lifecycles.
Proactive Management: Identify bottlenecks early, unblock project hurdles, and ensure timely execution across all workstreams.
Technical Communication: Translate complex technical security requirements into actionable strategies for business leadership and cross-functional teams.
Governance & Reporting: Establish key performance metrics (KPIs) and deliver clear progress reports to senior executive stakeholders.
Qualifications
Experience: 8 to 10+ years of senior IT project management experience leading large-scale corporate initiatives.
Technical Background (Mandatory): Hands-on understanding or strong background in data protection, vulnerability management, data analysis, or SOC environments.
Leadership Style: Self-starter mindset with a proven track record of driving results, taking initiative, and navigating matrixed environments.
Certifications (Assets): PMP, CISM, CISA, or CISSP.
Our client operates in Canada. The company takes all reasonable steps to limit the number of positions in Quebec that require knowledge of a language other than French, and only requires it when necessary and its existing bilingual employees are unable to perform these duties. Based on an assessment conducted by our client, it has been determined that this position requires candidates to be fluent in English (both spoken and written). In particular, this position will require the employee to interact with centralized internal departments (e.g., Operations / HR / Finance / Legal / Contracts / Sales) that support the organization in Canada and that do not speak French.
