Position Type: 6-Month Contract (Potential for extension and permanent conversion)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM or 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Training schedule) Overtime & Rotations possible

Responsibilities
Transaction & Wire Processing: Accurately process high volumes of financial transactions, bank wires, and data entry requests in accordance with established guidelines and procedures.
SLA & Inbox Management: Manage incoming requests from shared inboxes, provincial/government agencies, and internal partners, ensuring timely delivery to satisfy strict SLAs.
Operational & Escalation Support: Identify non-standard activities, process issues, or high-risk items and escalate them to appropriate internal/external partners to ensure swift resolution.
Compliance & Due Diligence: Adhere strictly to internal bank policies, Anti-Money Laundering (AML) frameworks, Business Continuity Management, and industry regulatory standards.
Data Management: Read complex documents, fetch required information, update databases, and handle sensitive customer data with utmost confidentiality.
Continuous Improvement: Participate in daily team touchpoints and identify opportunities to streamline processes, mitigate risk, and enhance service delivery.
Qualifications
Education: Post-secondary degree or diploma in Business, Finance, or a related field.
Experience: 2 to 4 years of experience within a banking, financial institution, or trade/wire processing environment.
SLA Experience: Proven track record of working within SLA-driven, high-volume, and compliance-regulated environments.
Technical Skills: Tech-savvy with proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Word, Outlook, and advanced Excel skills) and the ability to quickly learn proprietary banking software.
Soft Skills: Exceptional accuracy, high attention to detail, strong analytical/quantitative capabilities, solid communication skills, and a demonstrated ability to work independently or in a team.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
Direct experience with bank wire processing, Global, or WSS platforms.
Understanding of Money Market and Foreign Exchange (FX) products (e.g., spots, forwards, options, deposits, and loans).
