Responsibilities
Transaction Processing: Execute financial and non-financial transactions accurately and within established Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Risk & Compliance Management: Identify, escalate, and resolve non-standard or high-risk processing issues, ensuring strict compliance with enterprise and industry regulations.
System & Data Management: Utilize multiple internal applications and Microsoft Excel to process, track, and upload/download data efficiently.
Process Improvement: Participate in continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing workflows, identifying process gaps, and assisting with testing or system capability enhancements.
Team Collaboration: Actively participate in daily operational huddles and work closely with a close-knit team to manage peak volumes effectively.
Qualifications
Education: Post-secondary degree or diploma (coursework in finance, business, or economics is strongly preferred).
Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including working knowledge or familiarity with Macros and End User Computing (EUC) tools.
Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills for internal team collaboration and documentation.
Adaptability: Ability to thrive under pressure, prioritize workloads, and multi-task across complex software applications in a fast-paced environment.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
Prior operational or processing experience within a bank or financial institution.
Product knowledge of Registered Plans (RSPs, TFSAs, etc.).
Background in customer service or corporate operations.
