Responsibilities
Payroll Processing: Manage the full weekly payroll cycle for all Canadian employees using ADP Workforce Now.
Employee Lifecycle Management: Process personnel movements including onboarding new hires, salary adjustments, promotions, and calculating final payouts/issuing ROEs.
Time & Absence Tracking: Validate timesheets, manage time banks, track vacations, sick leave, and administer complex CCQ union data.
Accounting Integration: Generate and reconcile payroll reports with the General Ledger (GL), handle taxable benefits, and prepare journal entries for the Finance team.
Compliance & Year-End: Prepare government and union remittances, manage year-end processes (T4 / Relevé 1), and actively participate in payroll audits.
Communicate with [English]-speaking employees located outside Quebec on a regular basis
Qualifications
Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience managing multi-province and unionized (CCQ) payrolls.
System Expertise: Advanced proficiency in ADP Workforce Now is required.
Languages: Full professional bilingualism (English and French) to support national operations. Communicate with [English]-speaking employees located outside Quebec on a regular basis
Certification: PCP (Payroll Compliance Practitioner) designation is a strong asset.
Aptitudes: Strong composure under weekly deadlines, high analytical skills, and a "zero-error" standard for data accuracy.
