Responsibilities
Governance & Compliance: Support, implement, and refine procurement governance frameworks, monitor policy adherence, conduct risk/control assessments, and maintain auditable records.
Supplier Governance: Oversee supplier onboarding, risk monitoring, ESG, cybersecurity, and contractual compliance throughout the supplier lifecycle.
Risk Monitoring & Reporting: Prepare compliance dashboards, KPIs, and risk registers to support leadership decision-making and identify emerging risks.
Audit Readiness & Controls: Serve as a key contact for internal/external audits, ensuring documentation completeness, tracking corrective action plans, and maintaining internal controls.
Continuous Improvement: Partner across teams (Legal, ESG, Digital, Finance) to develop training, improve processes, and leverage technology for better monitoring.
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, compliance, governance, risk management, internal controls, or supplier management. Experience in aerospace, defense, or manufacturing preferred.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Law, Finance, Risk Management, or a related field.
Certifications: Professional certifications in Procurement, Risk, or Governance are considered an asset.
Languages: Bilingualism (English and French). English is required as you will be dealing with client ,supplier and colleagues who are outside Quebec and Canada.
Software/Technical Knowledge: Experience working with procurement tools, ERP systems, analytics platforms, or governance reporting software.
