Our client, a top 5 bank, is looking for a Proxy Services Administrator for a 4 months contract in Toronto. This position is a remote role.

Working hours: 9AM to 5:30PM; two 15mins paid breaks and an hour unpaid lunch

Responsibilities
As a Proxy Services Administrator, your duties will include, but are not limited to:
•Providing a high level of customer service in accordance with Investor & Treasury Services’ Standards and Complaint Resolution Procedures by interacting with personnel from various institutions.
•Utilizing the ProxyEdge platform to vote when needed.
•Performing other administrative functions as required.
•Supporting the seasonal peak season for proxy voting.
•Performing investigations and reconciliations of securities position in various custody platforms to identify eligible holders in upcoming AGM/EGM events.
•Assisting in the distribution of physical ballots, collation of data and voting.
•Validating eligible holders within in-house systems and vendor applications, looking for discrepancies as well as investigations and reconciliations
•Performing other administrative functions as required.
Qualifications
•Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business or Finance
•2-4 years financial services experience or knowledge
•Attention to detail and critical thinking
•Ability to work independently and manage one’s time
•Knowledge of proxy voting process (would be an asset)
•Knowledge of I &TS financial systems (would be an asset)
