Responsibilities
• Coordinate with team members, the team head/Supervisor, and other departments to organize resolution of application incidents.
• Undertake requirement analyses with good understanding of acceptance criteria.
• Develop and document test plans, strategy, and test scripts.
• Work closely with the Development team to execute tests on multiple environments, including QA, UAT and Production environments.
• Conduct automation and API testing using available tools and execute manual test cases with ability to analyze the test results.
• Troubleshoot issues, ensure detailed and clear logging of defects, documentation of test cases and test findings.
• Document and analyze test results, test strategy and test planning.
• Work closely with Product and Development teams to review solutions recommended by Developers or others for complex application change requests, ensuring they meet security standards and approved requirements.
• Balance scheduled and unscheduled requests based on priority, impact, and value to the business.
Qualifications
Essential Skills
1. Three (3) years’ experience acting in the role of a Quality Assurance Analyst.
2. Three (3) years of experience with capturing requirements, test cases, manual and automated tests as appropriate, and defect management.
3. Three (3) years' experience performing application load testing and vulnerability testing.
4. Three (3) years' experience in automation tools such as HP Unified Functional Testing (both GUI and API mode) and using tools like Selenium and scripting.
5. Three (3) years experience in developing test strategies, test plans for development and integration projects ensuring an effective and risk-based testing approach to validating the integrity of systems.
6. Three (3) years experience working on defect management, test case management and test reporting tools like JIRA and Zephyr
7. Three (3) years' experience working on REST API testing and performance tools like SoapUI, JMeter and Postman.
8. Three (3) years’ experience in strong Application Support and customer service skill set.
Desired Skills
1. Strong verbal and written communication skills to communicate both internally and externally with personnel at all levels.
2. Ability to disseminate information to various audiences, technical or non-technical.
3. Ability to collaborate with multiple teams and clients.
4. Ability to support multiple applications.
5. Strong documentation skills
6. Ability to work in a team environment as well as independently.
7. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
8. Knowledge of on premise and cloud-based services (e.g., AWS, Azure)
