Responsibilities
The Technical Architect FFS will be working under guidelines and direction from the Sr FCMS Lead architect
The resource is expected to:
- Conduct iterative technical architecture assessments
- Ensure compliance with OPS standards and guidelines, architecture development and review processes
- Develop an optimum approach & strategy in support of the FCMS architecture initiatives for the eBS Upgrade Project, but also potentially supporting Data Masking and Proactive Logging and Monitoring initiatives
- Advise and assist in design and documentation of architecture solutions
- Security assessment strategy, Privacy impact assessment and Threat Risk Assessment solution support
- Provide input and support for architecture governance for checkpoints, including preparation and presentation of governance materials at Cluster and Corporate Architecture levels
Deliverables:
- Solution architectures, options analysis, updated FRO architecture artifacts
- Technology analysis and assessment, options analysis, recommendations. Conduct iterative technical assessments respecting alignment with application, technical and security domains Ensure compliance with OPS standards and guidelines, architecture development and review processes
- Identity access management FCMS design
- Modular technical architecture design, review
- eBS Upgrade/Application Design review
- Releases analysis Design review
- Security assessment strategy, Privacy impact assessment and Thread Risk Assessment solution support
- Ensure that the Application and Technical architecture deliverables comply with the corporately-approved established designs and guidelines
- Secure approval of completed Architecture
- SAD, Security updates, traceability to the BAD, IAD. Compliance with OPS mandatory requirements and standards. For costing information please see the cost deliverables sheet attached
- Prepare/Respond/Present materials for application, technical architecture and security domains to the cluster and corporate architecture governance committees. Review, update all checkpoint deliverables to ensure traceability and alignment between the checkpoints and corresponding artifacts. - Prepare and execute a detailed knowledge transfer plan
- Update of the correlated Architecture & Security artefacts
- Ensure that all the Architecture deliverables, Architecture decisions are properly documented and maintained
Qualifications
- Business and Technology Architectural standpoint
- Public Sector Experience is a must
- COTS solutions and inbuilt solutions - so everything works together
- Microsoft and Cloud
