    Are you a payroll and benefits professional who has 3-5 years of experience with full-cycle payroll processing experience and has a keen eye for process improvements?Do you love the idea of being a part of a growing organization and being involved with a system implementation or upgrade?If this description describes you well and you feel you have the qualification and fit our client is seeking, this may be a great role for you!Advantages• Annual bonus• Pension match program• Voluntary RRSP program• Sunlife health and dental plan• STD, LTD and Life Insurance• Flexible working arrangements and hoursResponsibilitiesReporting to the Payroll Manager, your duties and responsibilities will include;• Process bi-weekly payroll and other payroll payments using ADP for hourly and salaried employees• Assist new companies with benefit enrollment• Administer all statutory deductions as well as other payroll deduction plans ), prepare reports and remittances• Set annual payroll schedules• Prepare and reconcile all year-end reporting requirements (T4, taxable benefits, pension adjustments)• Participate in the companywide benefit review process and provide assistance with system coding• Process benefit enrollments, changes, and terminations and act as a liaison with insurance carriers• Review and reconcile benefit carrier billings, prepare remittances• Maintain benefit record files for all employees• Process pension and Group RRSP enrollments, changes, and terminations and review and reconcile pension and group RRSP remittances• Prepare year-end reporting and filing• Maintain attendance and vacation records for employees• Complete WSIB monthly and year-end reporting• Respond to inquiries from employees about their payroll, benefit, and pension plans• Prepare regular and ad-hoc reports such as quarterly sick leave, vacation updates, benefit valuations, etc.• Work in compliance with all health and safety and environmental legislation• Other duties as assigned by supervisorQualifications• Ideally 3-5+ years’ experience working with outsourced payroll systems (preferably ADP)• Experience with HRIS and employee pension and benefit programs• Excellent verbal, written, and customer service skills• Working knowledge of relevant payroll and HR legislation, as well as pension and benefit administration• High level of attention to detail and excellent proof-reading skills• Excellent attendance and safety record and a strong safety awarenessSummaryIf this role sounds like a great match for your skills, experience, and fit, please apply today or share with a friend!Randstad Canada is committed to building a diverse workforce reflective of the diversity of Canada.
