Responsibilities
AWS Infrastructure & Cloud Management: Architect, configure, manage, and optimize enterprise AWS resources, including VPC, Elastic Load Balancing, Auto-Scaling, EC2, S3, IAM, CloudWatch, and CloudTrail.
CI/CD & Deployment Automation: Design, build, and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines for seamless code package deployments using tools like GitLab, Jenkins, Maven, Ansible, or Puppet.
Database & Data Streaming Management: Configure and maintain cloud database and messaging services, including Amazon Aurora DB, Redshift, DynamoDB, ActiveMQ, and Kinesis Data Streams.
Containerization & Kubernetes Orchestration: Administer, scale, and secure Docker containers and Kubernetes clusters across distributed application environments.
Linux System Administration: Perform OS installation, hardening, performance tuning, and shell scripting (Bash, Python) on Linux distributions (Red Hat Enterprise Linux).
Cloud Security & Compliance: Implement zero-trust cloud security controls, network firewalls, identity access management (IAM), encryption protocols, and audit logs.
Monitoring, Logging & Troubleshooting: Analyze production logs, set up system metrics, troubleshoot performance bottlenecks, and implement proactive system safeguards.
Technical Documentation & Advisory: Produce comprehensive system design models, integration plans, architecture specifications, and runbooks while providing technical recommendations for platform improvements.
Qualifications
Seniority & IT Experience: 10+ years of overall IT experience with a proven track record creating, managing, and maintaining production-grade AWS cloud environments (Strictly Required).
AWS Core Services Mastery: Demonstrated expertise managing AWS infrastructure including VPC, AWS Firewall, Elastic Load Balancing, Auto-Scaling, IAM, EC2, S3, API Gateway, Lambda, Aurora DB, Redshift, ActiveMQ, CloudTrail, and CloudWatch (Strictly Required).
Specialized AWS Suite Knowledge: Hands-on experience with Amazon Connect, Amazon Pinpoint, Amazon DynamoDB, Amazon Kinesis Data Streams, and Amazon Polly (Strictly Required).
Package Deployment & Automation: Proven ability to automate package deployments and manage infrastructure-as-code for cloud-based systems (Strictly Required).
Linux & Containerization: 5+ years of Linux/Unix administration experience (RHEL) paired with 3+ years administering Kubernetes and Docker container solutions (Strictly Required).
DevOps Tooling & Scripting: Proficient with CI/CD tools (GitLab, Jenkins, Ansible) and scripting languages (Python, Bash, Node.js).
Nice-to-Have Assets:
Prior experience delivering cloud and DevOps engineering within healthcare or public sector environments.
Familiarity with Salesforce solutions and MuleSoft API integrations.
