Responsibilities
As a Senior Project Manager, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
-Project Execution: Planning, executing, monitoring, and closing projects aligned strictly to defined scope, timelines, and budgets.
-Governance & Compliance: Ensuring rigid adherence to enterprise project governance standards, policies, and standard SDLC practices.
-Documentation & Reporting: Developing and maintaining thorough project documentation, including comprehensive plans, status reports, risk logs, and change requests to present to leadership.
-Risk & Change Management: Proactively tracking and managing project risks, issues, dependencies, and changes—specifically analyzing their financial impacts.
-Business Analysis & Strategy: Analyzing business requirements and technical solutions to provide data-driven recommendations based on impact and feasibility.
-Collaboration & Facilitation: Facilitating workshops, critical meetings, and decision-making sessions with stakeholders at all levels, while collaborating across cross-functional business, technology, and vendor teams.
Qualifications
Must Haves:
-8–10+ years of project management experience specifically within technology delivery environments.
-Strong technical experience managing Peoplesoft Financials and/or SAP projects (ideally S/4HANA FICO, MDG, or Group Reporting).
-Financial Sector Expertise: Solid background working within Finance or Financial Systems delivery environments.
-Core PM Delivery: Proven, demonstrable ability to manage project scope, schedules, budgets, risks, and dependencies flawlessly.
-Methodology Mastery: Deep understanding of enterprise project management methodologies and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
-Elite Communication: Exceptional stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence without authority and simplify complex technical concepts for senior leadership.
Nice to Haves:
-Prior experience within banking or the broader financial services industry.
-A foundational understanding of general accounting processes.
