Responsibilities
• Independently manage daily incoming receipts and outgoing deliveries in close collaboration with carriers.
• Compare, verify, and validate the accuracy of received goods against invoices, purchase orders, or bills of lading (including strict cargo weight verification).
• Maintain rigorous shipping records, log missing merchandise, and properly document/dispose of damaged goods.
• Handle physical logistics: secure, palletize, wrap, and clearly label goods with identification and delivery instructions.
• Accurately update both digital and physical logs for all shipped and received inventory.
• Ensure internal distribution of incoming mail, packages, and envelopes to the appropriate departments.
Qualifications
• Experience: 5 to 6 years of solid experience in shipping/receiving (ideally in an industrial or regulated environment). Note: Profiles with 3 years of experience may be considered for a temporary-to-permanent (TTP) option.
• Software Skills: Excellent proficiency with office computer tools (Outlook, Word, Excel) and mandatory knowledge of an ERP system.
• Technical Skills: Valid forklift license and proven operational experience on the warehouse floor.
• Industry Standards: Ability to work under strict quality and sanitation guidelines (Major assets: FSSC22000, GMP, AIB, EcoCert, Kosher, WHMIS, TDG).
• Candidate Profile: Absolute rigor, strong written/verbal communication skills, high professional stability, and a proven ability to work alone productively.
