In this senior contract role, you will assume end-to-end delivery accountability for two concurrent enterprise transformation programs, with a primary focus on replacing and upgrading core Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and payroll software platforms. You will act as a trusted strategic partner, coordinating cross-functional squads across IT, Finance, HR, and Operations under the guidance of the Program Director. Responsibilities
End-to-End Program Delivery: Lead the planning, execution, and deployment of two concurrent corporate transformation initiatives (specifically targeting ATS and payroll systems), ensuring alignment with timelines, budgets, and business cases.
Governance & Executive Communication: Establish and drive formal program governance frameworks, facilitating steering committees, drafting status reports, managing active decision logs, and triaging risks.
Cross-Functional Team Coordination: Align and coordinate distributed groups of business leaders, functional HR/Finance managers, IT developers, and external software vendors to ensure cohesive, integrated planning.
Change Management & Adoption: Identify downstream change impacts and proactively mitigate operational friction through structured change management frameworks and transparent communication plans.
Financial & Resource Stewardship: Manage project budgets through precise tracking of Capital Expenditures (Capex) and Operational Expenditures (Opex), capacity planning, and benefits realization mapping.
Qualifications
Experience: 7 to 10 years of progressive professional experience operating as an IT Project Manager or Program Manager delivering large-scale software transformations.
Bilingualism: Fully bilingual in English and French with professional-grade verbal and written communication skills in both languages (required to support nationwide corporate units).
Core Software Deployment Expertise: Direct, referenceable experience managing the end-to-end technical implementation of Payroll systems and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
HR & Financial Acumen: Strong foundational understanding of core HR workflows and business planning methodologies, along with comfortable fluency in financial management terminology (Capex/Opex tracking).
Soft Skills: Outstanding facilitation, leadership, and stakeholder management skills. A self-motivated team player who excels at bringing structure to complex, fast-moving environments and partnering effectively with executive sponsors.
Nice-to-Have Skills & Assets
Practical project experience implementing Dayforce (Ceridian) solutions.
Direct delivery experience with talent acquisition platforms like SmartRecruiters and/or GorillaWorks.
