Our client, a major player in the insurance industry, is looking to hire a Technical Assistant for their downtown Montreal office.

Responsibilities
Main responsibilities :
- Participate in the marketing of accounts during renewals and obtain relevant information;
- Provide excellent service to customers and team;
- Preparation of insurance binders;
- Preparation of account statements.
- Efficiently process applications;
- Collaborate in the implementation of measures to improve the company's efficiency and market leadership;
- Develop knowledge of company products;
-Participate in company training sessions;
Skills required
- One to two years' experience in commercial insurance or in an administrative position;
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to multi-task;
- Autonomy, flexibility and adaptability;
- Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines;
- Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
- Bilingualism (spoken and written).
- Customer service skills;
- Excellent communication skills;
- Excellent teamwork skills;
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Law, Actuarial Science, Finance or any related field;
- Experience in insurance is a strong asset;
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask
- Team player;
- Autonomy, flexibility and adaptability;
- Accuracy and attention to detail;
- Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines;
- Sense of initiative and resourcefulness;
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
- Mastery of the SigXP brokerage platform (would be an asset)
- Bilingualism (French and English);
- Great interest in numbers;
