      Are you a hospital workflow/work process expert with experience readying a new or redeveloped patient care facility (hospital or related) for activation and operations, taking into consideration clinical and non-clinical requirements and managing collaboration with various internal and external stakeholders? We are seeking an experienced Operational Readiness Specialist, who will work as an integral part of a hospital team to support the opening of a new patient care centre in a hospital in Toronto. This Support Services Operational Readiness Lead will work as part of a collaborative team to support the relevant departments (which may include Environmental Services - Housekeeping, Food Services, Patient Access Services, Portering, Waste Handling, Mail & Linen Services, and Logistics/Stores/Receiving areas) to ensure operational readiness for their new space. The role will involve collaborating with others and job shadowing various team members to create workflows, process maps and related work process documentation/plans, as well as completing other relevant tasks, to ensure this area of this hospital will be ready for activation and operation in 2022. This is a one-year contract term (full-time hours). This leader will collaborate with various stakeholders (internal and external) to understand and process-map existing processes of care and hospital operations to ensure future ways of working may be planned/developed with the goal of improving and enhancing the integration of services and material flows within the new facility.
