      Our client in Sarnia Ontario has an opening for a CNC Millwright Machinist. The position will be contract to start, very good chance of going permanent after 6 months. Candidates must be seasoned, experience millwrights as this work is not dealing with new components as much as it is overhauling existing machinery. This position would be day shift, Monday to Friday, 6:00am to 230pm As the company gets busier there will be opportunity for overtime on weekends, and during the week. AdvantagesCNC Millwright Machinist Sarnia ON 6 month contract $23.00-27.00/hourly ResponsibilitiesKey Job Elements•Implement repair and maintenance•Perform rebuilds and teardowns on many types of equipment, sometimes manufacture equipment parts.•Interpret and read complex CAD drawings and navigate through CAD models•Read and understand GD&T symbols for parts made, and manufacturing any part designed in manufacturing QualificationsRequired Qualifications•College diploma or completion of certified apprenticeship program •3+ years Millwright CNC Machinist experience•Experience with HBM – Horizontal Boring Machines•Experience with CMM operation an asset •Previous work experience with: Turning, Milling, Grinding machining•Previous work experience using hand tools and measuring tools inspection experience•Strong team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills •Solid understanding of proper Health and Safety workplace practices•Oil and Gas industry is preferred but not requiredWork Environment•Machine shop environment, less than 10 people now, but growingSummaryIf you have the necessary qualifications to excel in this position, please apply online.
