      Our public sector client is looking for an AODA Accessibility Advisor for an initial 6 month contract with the potential to extend.This person will be focused on the accessibility-by-design approach through the establishment of AODA Testing solutions, including developer training, test case templates, automation templates, dev and test tools, etc. Advantages- Hybrid work arrangement Onsite/Remote -, 2 days a week in the office in downtown TorontoResponsibilitiesAssignment Deliverables:-Collaborate with design teams and solution implementation teams on technical-focused accessibility-by-design approaches.- Coaching, guiding and training teams and stakeholders on digital accessibility principles, implementation techniques, manual and automated testing, and remediation techniques and methods.- Recommend and implement an automated accessibility toolset and methodology for the organization, ensuring ongoing sustainment of the practice.- Collaborate with both internal and external development teams on remediation solutions for compliance gaps.- Continue to develop and enhance the Digital Accessibility Guidelines and Testing Methodology.- Performs analysis and manual, semi-automated and automated accessibility testing in providing an overall digital accessibility assessment for their web properties and applications, using baseline digital accessibility principles outlined in the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA)- Produce accessibility evaluation reports in clear, concise and direct language and formats, presenting to and obtaining sign-off from the key stakeholders- Improving development and testing processes, methodology, tools, and best practices to ensure inclusive design and accessibility practices are adopted- Deliver training sessions to technical resources around tools, techniques and resources to improve digital accessibility best practices amongst development teams- Develop standard test case templates for digital accessibility, ensuring a credible, uniform and consistent approach- Monitor and update digital accessibility practices to reflect legislation, best practices and organizational direction - JAWS, SiteImprove, NVDAQualifications- 8 + years of experience working with and advising on AODA principles and best practices- Experience working with AODA testing solutions including developer training, test case templates, automation templates, dev and test tools, etc. - Knowledge of SiteImprove, JAWS, NVDASummaryexperience working with and advising on AODA principles and best practices Greater than 8 yearsExperience working with AODA testing solutions Greater than 8 yearsKnowledge of SiteImprove, JAWS, NVDA 5-8 yearsRandstad Canada is committed to fostering a workforce reflective of all peoples of Canada.
