This exciting and challenging opportunity focuses on National Strategic Account Growth of existing High Volume Customers for all of Randstad Canada's service offerings in the Canadian marketplace.

Reporting to the EVP of Sales, the Client Executive -– Strategic Accounts, is responsible for attaining overall revenue and margin goals within a defined set of strategic accounts, developing high level business contacts and relationships with senior decision-makers and leveraging those relationships to grow Randstad’s wallet share.

Responsibilities also include coordinating branch-level sales and delivery activities, and complete ownership of the overall client relationship. In this role, you will represent Randstad Canada as an enterprise-wide expert and be able to communicate all of Randstad's service offerings to your strategic accounts. Your goal is to look holistically at the needs of the strategic account, and provide optimal solutions while driving the TTA approach with the customer.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Increase corporate visibility within specified high-value, Strategic Accounts at the highest level (President, CIO, CPO, Senior VPs, Procurement, etc.) through regular executive calls, visits, executive presentations, and delivery of top-tier value-added programs.  
  • Ensure that Randstad is positioned optimally to influence strategic recruitment and staffing decisions within accounts. 
  • Develop new threads of revenue and increase overall revenue growth throughout all areas of the account, its subsidiaries, and sister companies.  Broaden client relationships on a national level and extend it to an international level when feasible.
  • Responsible for attaining overall revenue goals, increasing account share, developing high-level business contacts and relationships, achieving margin and profitability goals, 
  • Executive management of account activities, coordination of city-level Account Teams, and complete ownership of the overall client relationship at designated Strategic Accounts.
  • Act in a consultative capacity to the National Account on all areas of recruitment strategy with an emphasis on developing an integrated approach to recruitment
  • Develop and maintain centralized customer intelligence repository inclusive of organizational charts, media clips, annual reports, current news releases, vertical market analysis, etc., and disseminate amongst the entire client service team.
  • Provide mentorship to local Account Teams on advanced client development and service techniques.
  • Manage all contract related issues including initiation and negotiation of new master agreements, contract compliance inclusive of confidentiality agreements, unique billing and reporting requirements, documentation of special provisions, and act as a central point of contact to client for all related administrative matters

To be successful, you’ll need to be results-driven and able to deftly balance competing demands.

Job Requirements & Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management or related field or 8-10+ years equivalent work experience required
  • 5+ years of demonstrated business development or client account expansion success
  • Demonstrated knowledge of current trends and best practices in recruiting and client business.
  • Preferred - Previous Business Case development, Business Process or Recruitment Process Outsourcing and Experience managing global partnerships.
  • Experience with the following would be an asset ;
    • Google apps (mail, calendar, contacts)
    • Resource Management / Professional Services Automation tools
    • Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), (e.g. PeopleFluent, Taleo, eRecruitVirtual Edge)
    • Candidate and/or Customer Relationship Management Systems (e.g. Bullhorn, Avature)
    • Excellent Communication Skills.
