Advantages- $0.70 shift premium on nights- extensive training on the day shift will be provided- hourly rate of $35-$36, apprentices will be around $2-$3 less hourly- paid sick days- paid day off on your birthday!- centrally located in Kitchener- tuition reimbursement program- can negotiate additional unpaid time off- no vacation blackout periods- work for a Manager that understands trades- steady pace, essential goods- like to promote from within- climate-controlled environmentResponsibilities- maintaining automated equipment- troubleshooting breakdowns- working with older DC electrical systems- working with sensors, limit arms, automated palletizing equipment- robotic wrapping equipment- conveyors- interpreting blueprints and schematics- on-call every 5-6 weeks- working with Allen Bradley, Siemen's PLC's- working in a team atmosphere- working a rotating shift (tbd at this time)Qualifications- either you are a senior Millwright Apprentice with 6500+ hours of experience, OR you are a licensed Millwright 433A - live within the Waterloo Region or surrounding area (within an easy commute)- relatively clear criminal record (some charges may be overlooked)- able to work on a straight night shift, but have the flexibility to work on day shift for 2-3 months during training- must have a strong sense of accountability and ability to work in a team environment- strong troubleshooting abilitiesSummaryIf you are interested in this position, there are several ways for you to apply.
