      One of our clients focusing on elevator design and parts installation is looking to hire a qualified and talented Junior Installer to assist and aid the onsite technicians in assembling and putting together the parts and pieces of a custom made order, prepare the product for delivery and ensure great quality.Location: South East end of Ottawa (St Laurent area)This is a permanent role that is needed asap. Once hired you will be put directly into the payroll of the companyHourly rate: 19/hr.Shift: 6am – 2:30pm Monday to FridayAdvantages•Full-time permanent role with stable hours and full benefits•Competitive rate•Amazing shift – day shift, no weekend work•Great team to work for•Bus accessible and has free parkingResponsibilities•Ensuring that all parts and pieces of the custom made materials are in order and readily packed in a crate•Preparing all tools and equipment (machines, power drills, saws, nail guns) needed to manufacture and fabricate the pieces of the material.•Able to read blueprints, take accurate measurements (centimeter and imperial) as required by the order•Able to lift heavy weight consistently. •Accomplish order list for the day in an efficient manner•Able to install and dismantle parts and pieces as needed•Other general labour roles as needed in the facility Qualifications•Ability and experience using hand tools (power tools, drills, saws)- Knowledge in Carpentry- Must be familiar with Ottawa and surrounding areas.
