In this role you will be responsible for controlling shipping dates, checking inventory levels of products in the warehouse, communicating with clients in both Canada and US, quoting shipments, dealing with carriers and with any lost or damaged shipment that needs to be returned. The ideal candidate for this role is someone with 1-2 years of experience in dealing with ground cross border shipment of palletized products. Advantages- Full time ongoing work- 40 hours per week- Permanent opportunity with room for growthResponsibilitiesAs a Customer Service Logistics Coordinator you will be responsible for shipment in both Canada and US. Once an order is placed by a customer you will be required to contact various carriers in order to get quotes and price for the shipment. When a carrier is chosen you will have to check the inventory levels in the warehouse in order to fulfill the order. Once the pallet is on route you will be required to track and communicate with the client and update them on estimated time of arrival of the shipment.
