      Our client, a global computer software company. is looking for an Application Support Analyst to be responsible for providing technical support for their global clients.  Key responsibilities include analysis, debug and resolution of technical issues that clients have with the software as well as providing custom solutions and Integration assistance.  Due to our global client base, on-call standby to provide technical support across various time zones will berequired.Advantages- 100% REMOTE - can work anywhere in Canada- 3 weeks vacation- Up to 10% bonus- Closed for entire week of Christmas - paid time off- Reimbursement program available for continuing education/pursuing certificationsResponsibilities- Manage a fast-paced queue of support inquiries and requests.- Troubleshoot/debug Customer issues and provide timely responses in accordance to the SLA.- Investigate root cause analysis of system issues where applicable.- Provide instruction/assistance for installation or upgrades to self-hosted clients.- Cross-Departmental engagement with internal teams to provide customer feedback as it relates to Customer service and issues.- Acquire, maintain and apply detailed knowledge of applications and contribute to Community forums, Knowledge base and Solution articles.- Identify and document opportunities for improvement.- Categorize and document qualified system issues for development- Interact with various departments (support, pre-sales, customer experience, services) for sizing recommendations, high-level installation/implementation designs, security questions, application issues, and database problemsQualifications- Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Information Technology or equivalent technical College diploma.- Application support experience- General IT support/network support experience- Some basic understanding of scripts & codes within a professional or educational environment (open to SQL, java, python, perl, or other) - Some familiarity with RPA (Robotic Process Automation) tools, would be a nice to have- Ability to learn new technologies independently.- Excellent prioritization, organization skills, and excellent communication skills.- Strong problem solving skills with ability to analyze and make an educated decision.- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.SummaryIf you feel this is you or someone you know, please send me an email with a resume attached to samia.hussaini@randstad.ca or connect with me directly on LinkedIn!
