      Our dynamic surveying equipment distribution client is looking for a passionate and dedicated candidate as a Technical Support Technician to technically support customers with their equipment and promote ABTECH and its products to Ontario’s customers. This will support their Ottawa location.- This role is a Work from home opportunity and will involve travel to sites around Ottawa for which a company car will be provided.- The candidate must be Bilingual (English and French both). - Must have a minimum of 1-3 years of experience with Surveying experience.-- Ideally prefer candidates with knowledge of Surveying equipment like Leica Toral Stations, Trimble or GPS.Advantages- Competitive compensation- Bonus on top of the base salary- Amazing benefits- 2 to 3 Weeks vacation- Company Car-Working for a growing companyResponsibilitiesResponsibilities:•Provide technical support and quality support to users surrounding our products and software, both orally and in writing •Analyze, diagnose, resolve discrepancies, answer questions and provide general support to clients ;•Participate in some installations and systems maintenance on our customer’s site;•Calibrate measurement devices ;•Clearly document interventions and develop reference tools ;•Perform software installations and program updates ;•Perform training and technical demonstrations of our instruments to clients ;•Advise and retain the target clientele of the Ontario ;•Be part of the 24H support team (on rotation) ;•Participate in the management of the inventory and of the rental center of the branch;•Participate in all development and technical projects approved by the management.Advantages : •Schedule Monday to Thursday from 8am to 5pm and from 8am to 4pm on Friday;•Competitive salary and health benefits;•Young, friendly and dynamic atmosphere.
