      Our client located in Delta (Annacis Island) is looking for an HR generalistReporting to the Manager, Finance and Business Support, you will be responsible for all aspects of recruitment, employment,compensation, labor relations, benefits, training, employee support, and all HR-related administrative tasks.Advantages- Competitive salary and benefits- Some flexibility to work from home- Company leader in the sector- Exposure to international contexts- Good culture and work environmentResponsibilities -Assist with all internal and external HR related inquiries or requests -Maintain both hard and digital copies of employees' records -Lead the recruitment process by generating job descriptions, advertisements, and postings, and identifyingcandidates, performing reference checks and issuing employment contracts -Support and assist with terminations and resignations -Assist with performance management procedures -HR Employee support and administrative functions (employment letters, work permit applications) -Administrate WCB Accidents (Teksmed) -Schedule meetings, interviews, HR events and maintain agendas- Perform orientations and update records of new staff -Maintain and update Company Policies and Procedures- Participate in the Shop and Safety Committee and Shop Contract negotiations -Assist with payroll and ad-hoc HR projects- Continuously improve upon processes and offer to increase overall efficiency and effectiveness -Continual update of technical knowledge through education workshops and reviewing technical publications -Maintain internal company training toolsQualifications Degree in Human Resources, or related equivalent 2+ years’ experience in a medium-sized organization Experience with Labour Law and employment regulations in BC, Canada, and US Familiarity with payroll procedures and practices Effective HR administration and people management skills Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office, especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook Experience working with a global company an asset Must possess a valid passport and driver’s licenseSummaryAre you interested in joining a well-established company with a worldwide presence?
