    Your challenge!This position is responsible for prospecting for new accounts that generate market ready recovered materials. Working closely with the Market Ready Supply Service Representative they will be responsible for managing and maintaining the actual business portfolio of their assigned territory.They will work in collaboration with the demand team in order to establish the trends and adjust the Company’s sales strategies in order to better fulfill changing demand requirements. Job ResponsibilitiesIdentifying and developing new business supply to meet the Company’s internal and external demand needs and increasing the overall volume being managed by Cascades.Effectively manage prospective suppliers by utilizing sound marketing and sales plans and maintaining key information on prospects and their different maturity level in our sales cycle.Monitoring recovered material prices and market conditions on a regular basis and assisting our National Sales Strategist in developing appropriate marketing strategies.Maintaining a strong understanding of the existing and prospective supply customers within their assigned region;Interpreting the market data by utilizing the latest tools in business intelligence to identify winning segments, stand out from competitors and enhancing the strength of the Group.Maintaining and updating market intelligence data base on a constant basis and confirming the accuracy of the data provided.While working closely with senior management and the National Sales Strategist, develop sales strategies to drive growth in their assigned region/territory.Leading and managing price negotiations for the materials within their specified region.Developing and maintaining a strong business network within assigned territory.Maintaining frequent and open communication with the “Market Ready Mill Specialist”.In very close collaboration with the “Market Ready Mill Specialist”, communicate on a regular basis with suppliers on matters of quality and other supply challenges.Participating in sales activities, market events, conventions, etc. in order to promote and establish Cascades leadership in the recovered material market.With the collaboration and support of the Market Ready Supply Service Representative, ensure all transactional activities are done properly; that supply requirements are received in a timely fashion, that all of the transactions on volume and dollars are accurate, and monitor and ensure that the committed volumes are respected.Managing the relationship with each one of the suppliers in the assigned territory and acting as their partner in ensuring complete customer satisfaction and identifying additional business opportunities that may arise.Your Background and StrengthPost secondary education in customer service / sales or equivalent training and experience.A minimum of 2-5 years of customer service and/or sales experience. A good knowledge of the recycling industry, end markets and mill operations will be considered an assetStrong negotiation skills People person and customer service oriented Strong organizational skills and ability to adaptVery high ethics behaviorKnowledge of secondary materials market and plant processing#revealyourpotential  #LifeAtCascadesCascades believes in the success of an inclusive organization that values diversity within its team.
