      We have a shipper/receiver position starting immediately in Edmunston NB -- this is a temporary position and is day shift full time. The position will start ASAPThe selected candidate will be responsible for the movement of industrial goods within or between branches and warehouses. Also to ensure branches have the necessary supplies by sending and receiving items, verifying the accuracy of orders and processing them appropriately. & Support warehouses by stocking shelves, performing room maintenance activities in the work area and using a forklift to move items.Advantages-$20/hour-Contract position (July & August)- Begins July 5th- Paid weeklyResponsibilitiesReceive the products in the inventory, in addition to unpacking them and checking their contents under the appropriate documents; ensure that items received are correctly added to the computer tracking system.Prepare the packages to be sent according to the information on the packing slip; collect and package items for shipment based on customer and branch orders.Ensure items are shipped in accordance with company best practices and customer requirements.Fill shelves with received deliveries using the proper sorting or organizing system and equipment, including forklifts.File packing slips from suppliers and colleagues; print service and production documents as required.Maintain a daily log regarding the forklift.Make sure the warehouse is kept clean and tidy at all times.Perform additional duties, including local pickup and delivery duties in addition to regular warehouse work, as required.Qualifications• Team spirit orientated• Being bilingual is an asset(french/english) • Take safety and security to heart• Available to work Monday - Friday SummaryIf you are interested in the position please apply directly through the ad.Other way to apply:email your resume with the job title to: halifax.staffing@randstad.caRandstad Canada is committed to building a diverse workforce reflective of the diversity of Canada.
