    We are looking for a Rockstar Maintenance Lead that will take complete ownership in this leadership role in coordinating and facilitating maintenance of plant equipment and building. Our client, a leading company in the chemicals space, has an immediate opening for a full-time, permanent position.This is a day shift, 8 hour days Monday - Friday,AdvantagesDAY shift $45 - $47 / hour (depending on experience and skill set)Being apart of a solid leadership teamBenefits:• Company events• Dental care• Disability insurance• Extended health care• Life insurance• Bonus pay• On-site parking• Paid time off• RRSP match• Tuition reimbursement• Vision careResponsibilitiesMain Duties1.Schedule and lead daily/weekly/monthly/annual maintenance activities at the Toronto Site including breakdown repair and preventative maintenance.2.Ensure maintenance has all the proper spare parts identified by Engineering.3.Ensure equipment is available and safe for production when required.4.Along with the daily maintenance activities performed (wrench time), works with production and engineering in root cause failure analysis and root cause elimination.5.Schedules contractor services (i.e. boilers, air compressor pm HVAC etc.) and monitors contractor activities.6.Evaluates contractor services on an ongong basis.7.Ensures maintenance activities are properly logged in the plant CMMS (ITIS)8.Recommends changes to the PM program to Engineering.9.Manages work order backlog.Qualifications433A License Knowledge required1. Practical knowledge of plant equipment2. Understanding of skills expected from various trades3. Safe maintenance practices in a chemical environment.4. 5 years of plant maintenance experience in one of the trade disciplines5.
