If so, we have the role you are looking for!We are currently looking for individuals to join our client, one of Canada's largest insurance and financial services companies, as a HR Payroll Coordinator.This role is open to candidates in Waterloo only.Advantages- Work for one of Canada's largest insurance and financial services companies- Work with a friendly and easy-going team- Working days: Monday – Friday, 8 to 4:30 with half hour lunch or 8 to 5 with 1 hr lunch- Remote work for now- Need to come into the office 3 days per week.- 12-month contract- Pay Rate: $31.50/hr- May 2nd, 2022 start dateWorkers placed through Randstad are eligible for preferred rates on health, dental, and life insurance.This Value-add program will provide a wide range of options to suit your needs.ResponsibilitiesAs a HR Coordinator, your duties will include but not be limited to:•Processing and analyzing multi- Province Canadian payroll data for 13,000 employees on a semimonthly. •Processing Payroll Transactions – 70%•Calculating and processing transactions included in the Gross to Net payroll•Terminating Pay (voluntary & involuntary); vacation on termination•Processing Leave payments SRD, LTD and STR, ROE•Handling Overpayments & recovery•Preparing file loads for payroll input•Creating on-demand checks and ACHs for off-cycle payments•Setting up Garnishments•Researching, resolving and responding to escalated Tier 1B payroll inquiriesQualifications•4+ years full cycle Payroll Processing experience•Supported a minimum of 1000 employees•Experience with large 3rd party payroll providers like ADP, PeopleSoft, Ulti Pro•Excellent organizational & time management skills•Attention to detail, accuracy, efficiency and ability to handle multiple priorities•Ability to follow complex oral & written direction and excellent problem solving skills•Good verbal & written communication skills•Advanced knowledge of payroll processing, tax principles, wage & hours legislation•Minimum requirements is Associate Degree, prefer a BachelorsNice to have:•CPA or APA Certification or in progress•Supported multiple countries (Canadian and US)•Intermediate knowledge of Excel (VLOOKUP, Sum if, nested formulas, etc.)•Experience with ADP Global view as a processing services clientSummaryIf you are interested in the HR Payroll Coordinator, please apply online at www.randstad.ca.Randstad Canada is committed to fostering a workforce reflective of all peoples of Canada.
