      We have an exciting permanent opportunity for a Technical Sales Representative focusing on industrial equipment products in Nova Scotia.We are looking for a HRM resident that doesn't mind some travel. The successful candidate will be technically inclined and not afraid to help clients. The ideal background is mechanical engineering with sales experience but other technician profiles will be considered. The products are rotating, stationary, and fluid power equipment platforms.The Technical Sales Rep, supports profitable growth of customer accounts, grows existing business and identifies, qualifies, and secures new business by establishing, cultivating, and building strong client relationships.Duties also include:•Developing, negotiating and implementing major account strategies•Resolving escalated customer issues•Reading blueprints•Delivering on sales goals and budget commitments•Work collaboratively with the sales and marketing teams and fosters a culture of continuous process improvement•Other duties as requiredAdvantages- Home based office (outside sales/technical support)- Full Benefits- Expense and millage reimbursement- 70-80k per year (depending on experience)Responsibilitiescandidate must be able to accurately measure related equipment components and be able to read blueprints.
